1. Bending the knees, pivot 90° to the left on the right toes and left heel. The weight is on the right leg. The hands point straight ahead.

2. Moving the left foot slightly left, draw the hands back to just below the right ear.

3. Shift forward into a front stance by straightening the right leg and bending the left. At the same time lower the left hand to the side and push forward with the right hand.
