(11) Brush Knee Twist Step
1. Step up with your left foot
2. Lift your right hand so that it is level with the space between the index finger and the thumb of the left hand.
Turn your waist to the right
Bring your hands around so that they are just under your right ear.
Look ahead
3. Shift the weight into a front stance
Press down with your left hand and push forward with your right hand
(12) Seven Star Style (Left)
1. Sit back
2. Bend your right elbow, positioning your right palm in front of your chest.
3. Bring the left hand up so that the wrist of your left hand touches the fingers of your right hand.
Thumb of the left hand should be at nose level.
(13) Stroke The Lute
1. Turn waist 45 degrees to the right
2. Shift the weight forward into a front stance.
Push the left palm toward the right corner
The left foot points straight forward.
3. Turn waist 90 degrees to the left
The left palm faces the left corner.
1. Step up with your right foot
Feet should now be parallel and a shoulder-width apart.
